Motorola Moto G Review?

Motorola Moto G Review

Motorola's most affordable smartphone to date!

The moto g 16Gb model sim free

here I will give a detail review of the moto g by Motorola the one I have is the 16Gb version which can be purchased at many retailers that includes tesco, carphonewarehouse, asda and amazon. The 16Gb model is priced at £145.

I will review in 4 different areas so users can get a idea of how this smartphone works and whether this is a buy?

Display
The first thing you will notice about the moto g is the display. It is a HD display a screen resolution by 1280X720 which equals to a pixel density of 326 which almost rivals the iPhone 5S which is 5X more pricier than the cheaper moto g.both the iPhone 5S and moto g uses IPS displays ensuring texts, images are clear and the colours on the moto g just pops out. Its got a good viewing angles no matter how you use the phone which is a rare in most budget smartphones today.

Battery
What happens when our smartphones battery dies and we have to charge it constantly just to keep the smartphone going, however that's not the case with moto g as it delivers exceptional battery life (although battery life may vary by settings/configurations).

I was able to get 7 to 8 hours of usage without having to plug my phone this is a huge factor when choosing a smartphone. If you're a heavy user who likes to watch the latest films and TV episodes and connecting to social media sites then moto g will do that just for you. In my time with this I was about to get about 6 hours of heavy usage and that's all by watching some movies,TV shows, checking my emails, listening to music and browsing the web.

If you're a light or medium  user who wants to check emails, playing some games, browsing the web you should be able to get 7 to 8 Hours of usage.

Software
The great about the moto g is not only its affordable but it comes with the latest android software which is a rare for budget smartphones.

Out of the gate you will find android kitkat right out the box. The latest android update works smoothly and no signs of lags.

It doesn't stop there as Motorola promised that they will be bringing even more improvements to make the whole user experience a lot more better.

Memory
When buying a smartphone users will also take consideration the amount of memory a phone has. Well Motorola has worked a solution for this. If you buy the 8GB or 16GB you will get 50GB of free Google drive storage only available for the moto g. With Google cloud drive storage it will automatically back up all your files, settings, media and pictures for free up to 2 years. Me personally find this very useful if your using multiple devices or lost your phone and want all your important files stored safely in the cloud. This is where Google drive comes in handy.

conclusion
After using the phone for the past several months I highly recommend this smartphone to anyone who wants a well made device but without the high price tag.
